Dr. Pedro Isaias
Portuguese Open University
Pedro Isaías is a Professor at the Universidade Aberta (Portuguese Open University) in Lisbon, Portugal, responsible for several courses and director of the master degree program in Electronic Commerce and Internet since its start in 2003. He holds a PhD in Information Management (in the speciality of information and decision systems) from the New University of Lisbon. Author of several books, book chapters, papers and research reports, all in the information systems area, he has headed several conferences and workshops within the mentioned area. He has also been responsible for the scientific coordination of several EU funded research projects. He is also member of the editorial board of several journals and program committee member of several conferences and workshops. At the moment he conducts research activity related to Information Systems in general, E-Learning, E-Commerce and WWW related areas.
Dr. Cenk Tezcan

Dr. Cenk Tezcan- Founding partner of BeWell, Medical ITist, Board member for Medical Information systems and technologies foundation, instructor at METU, futurist.Graduated from TED Ankara College and Ankara University Medical Faculty. Finished his MBA at Ankara University. Took training in hospital planning. Worked at Meteksan System and Intel about medical equipment, turnkey hospital construction and medical information systems. Worked as consultant for World Bank, İslamic Development Bank and for several ministries. Currently working different projects on Medical Information Systems, and turnkey hospital projects. Writing mobile health report for TUSİAD. Working for the development and spread of mobile health subject and officially consulting Social Security Institution on Mobil Health pilot project. Lecturing graduate student on “Executive Medical Informatics” and “Future Studies”. He conducted and directed a TV program at TRT regarding "future vision" for 13 series. Conducted Digital Gealth Summit Turkey together with PTMS. Written numerious articles and gave speeches on mobil health and future of health. Compiles his writings on www.cenktezcan.com.
Dr. Levent Efe
CMI-Levent Efe Medical Illustration Studios
Levent Efe is a Melbourne based, freelance medical illustrator. After receiving his medical degree in İstanbul University, he undertook a Fellowship at the Department of Art as Appplied to Medicine in the Johns Hopkins Medical School in Baltimore, MD. Through his independent medical illustration studio, he has since been serving a wide ranging clientele world wide, including major medical publishers, advertisers, and electronic media. His main interest is visualising surgical procedures for patients as well as health professionals. He believes proper visual narration, coupled with clear informative material empowers patients to take on any complex procedure or treatment successfully.
Marie Adele TAIT
Special Projects Director, Crawford School of Public Policy, The Australian National University
Maree Tait has had a deep involvement with the developing countries of the Asia Pacific region over many years and has developed outstanding skills at organizing client relevant activities and courses for specific groups. She backs this with expert knowledge of the World Bank’s GDLN and success in publishing on economics and governance issues. Maree is a member of the GDLN Global Board and has an active role in governance of the network and of the regional GDLN Asia Pacific. Maree was Editor of the Pacific Economic Bulletin, with Ron Duncan and Foundation Editor of Asia Pacific Press. She now advises the Editor of Asia and the Pacific Policy Studies, having assisted him in creating and funding the innovative online journal. Her prime areas of interest are in Papua New Guinea, and the Pacific islands, Timor Leste, and the Asia Pacific region.
