The 4th Future Learning 2012 Conference was Fulfilled
Future
Learning conferences, with specified mission and renovated vision, are continued from 2004 by Informatics
Department of Istanbul University, Turkish Informatics Foundation and Turkish
Informatics Society. The 4th Future Learning Conference 2012 do the honors more than 200 participant that different
kind of countries such as USA, Italy, Egypt, Pakistan, Algeria, Canada,
Slovakia, Malaysia and etc. In every conference day, those participants attend
to keynotes’ presentations, which open up the new horizons. The keynotes and
their speeches were Prof. Alessandra Briganti- The USGM experience: virtual
Immersive Labs and the new frontier for learning, Prof. Dr. Sushil Sharma- The
changing landscape of e-learning, Prof. Dr. Danguole Rutkauskiene- Distance
Learning in Europe. The punctiliously selected 50 papers were presented to participants
by their authors. In 4th Future Learning Conference 2012 , five different panels
were carried out. In those panels, the
participants discussed different kind of subjects such as e-learning tips for business
world, vision on future learning, e-learning:
global view and the great project of Turkey, Fatih Project. The workshops about
future learning are fulfilled by the attendance of important names from business
World and universities. There were also simultaneous
translations in conference halls.
